About CubeSensei Play
How it works
CubeSensei teaches the Rubik's Cube the way solvers actually think: the language of turns, what each move does, and the methods that build up to a full solve — all flat in the browser, no 3-D or camera required.
- Cube-Net Trainer — an unfolded cube you turn with real notation buttons (R, U′, F2…). Every sticker shows its colour letter, so you can watch exactly which pieces move — then try famous patterns like the checkerboard, the sexy move, and the superflip.
- Algorithm Drill — build the inverse of a sequence to undo it, read what each move means, and learn the logic behind the turns (why R⁴ comes back to solved).
- Concept kits — 16 short question rounds, from notation and cube anatomy through F2L, OLL, and PLL.
No camera, no 3-D — and that's on purpose
The iOS app can scan a real cube and show it in 3-D. The web version teaches the same thing a different way — a flat cube net you turn with notation. It works on any device, needs no camera, and reads clearly for everyone (every sticker is labelled with its colour letter).
Our privacy promise
CubeSensei Play is free, works offline, and collects nothing. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no camera, and no data ever leaves your device — your progress, level, and streak are saved only in this browser.
Mistakes are part of it
You never lose anything for a wrong try. Wrong answers get a gentle explanation, and hints teach you how to reason — not just the answer. Every cuber gets tangled up before it clicks; that's exactly how learning works.
